Toxicology Services

ToxiPharm has been developing quality testing services from small biotech to large pharmaceutical companies. Detailed protocols, both standard and customized are available for either acute or chronic toxicity. Our vivarium is equipped to execute toxicological services and surgical procedures:

In Vivo Pharmacology

ToxiPharm provides an array of preclinical pharmacology services which we design with our customers to meet their exact needs in their early stage preclinical pharmacology and efficacy investigations. ToxiPharm has several expert collaborators in different fields so that services provided to you are performed and directed by experts in the field. Our vivarium is operated by personnel that have over twenty years of experience in surgical procedures.

In Vitro Services

ToxiPharm provides a large variety of in vitro testing services to assist customers in the drug development process, drug discovery and IND. We offer a broad range of cytotoxicity assays for the in vitro evaluation of cellular response to pharmaceutical or chemical compounds. The assays are based on well-established, sensitive and reliable endpoints of cytotoxicity and growth inhibition.

• In Vitro Services Include: 
• Cell viability (cytotoxicity)

Surgical Services

At ToxiPharm, we work with trained technicians with over 20 years of experience in surgical procedures on several animal species ranging from mice to canines. The operating rooms are well equipped with electrocardiogram (ECG) and hemodynamic monitoring as well as state-of-the-art fluoroscopic imaging enabling catheterisation of vessels.  All surgeries are performed under anaesthetic conditions using approved methods by the CCPA.

Histopathological Services

ToxiPharm provides quality histopathological and immunohistochemical services as an endpoint to complete any in vivo and in vitro disease model study that we perform to accommodate the needs of our customers.

Expert pathologists are consulted to assist our study directors to provide the Sponsor with the interpretation of their results.
